Assistant professor Tomaž Zadnik, DVM  is engaged in clinical work and studies of metabolical diseases, claw diseases, hematological and biochemical blood and milk analyses with emphasis on abdominal surgery and metabolic/milk profile of cows, during periparturient period and research work of causes, etiology, therapy and prevention of abomasal displacement and other metabolic and abdominal diseases.
